International passengers flying from the USA to India on Etihad Airways after that date will get to experience the brand new Terminal A starting November 9. Etihad Airways will be shifting all of its domestic and international operations to Terminal A between November 9 and 14.
However, if you're flying from India to the US on Etihad Airways and you're eligible for US customs pre-clearance in Abu Dhabi. You'll need to have at least 3 hours of connection time or layover in your itinerary starting November 9. The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility won't be moving to Terminal A from Terminal 3 anytime soon.
