Day 1 Timber Trails

Pick up from Chandigarh and drive to Timber Trails Arrive Timber trail and check in.

Timber trails is a very beautiful and breathtaking resort. The children will love it and have a great time.

Day 2 Timber Trail-Shimla

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Around noon check out and proceed for Shimla (100kms,approx 2hrs drive). Arrive Shimla and check-in at hotel. Later, venture out to the Mall (main shopping area and lot of eating joints). Overnight in Shimla.

Shimla is a tourist destination is also the capital of the Himachal state. It is situated in the north-west Himalayas. Shimla is often referred to as the "Queen of Hill Stations" (a term coined by the British). It has been blessed with all the natural bounties, one can think of. Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The biggest industry in Shimla is hotel, travel and tourism. Bulging at its seams with unprecedented expansion, the town retains a colonial aura, with its grand old buildings.

Day 3 In Shimla

After breakfast, explore Shimla. Shimla has a number of spaces to visit. Local hangouts like the mall road and ridge are in the heart of the city. Most of the heritage buildings in the city are preserved in their original tudorbethan architecture. The Viceregal lodge which houses the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, and Wildflower hall that is now a luxury hotel are some of the famous ones. A collection of paintings, jewellery and textiles of the region can be found at the State Museum (built in 1974).

You can also drive to Naldhera which is approx 22kms from Simla. Motorable On Shimla Tattapani road. This is a nine hole golf course. It was designed by the British viceroy, Lord Curzon who was so enchanted by this place that he gave his daughter Alexandra, Naldehra as her second name. Ancient Nag temple is also situated here.

Day 4 Thanedar

After breakfast, proceed to Thanedar Thanedar, will give you a camp experience as here you will be staying in Banjara Camps.

Thanedar: A pleasant hamlet Thanedar, located amidst the scenic apple orchards in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India, is at a height of 7,250 ft and is famed as the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh.

It is an absolutely soothing place where time has no meaning and it moves unnoticed, enjoying Mother Nature’s lavishness. One can spend refreshingly lethargic days here. Banjara Camp near Thanedar provides the convenient accommodation facilities. This is a place to undertake many adventure activities like trekking, nature walks and rock climbing. Prime attractions in this picturesque place include an ancient St. Mary’s Church, Tani-Jubbar Lake, Parmjyotir the stone temple and Hattu Peak. Satyanand Stokes, an apple pioneer, built the stone temple in the Pahari architectural style. A nearby hillock, Barobag is attractive. The Himachali style family dwelling of the apple pioneer Satyanand Stokes, Harmony House, is on Barobag Hill. One can also take to the charming Koteshwar Mahadev Temple at Kumarsain and pay an onsite visit of the old royal palace in this apple dome. Lots of tourists visit Thanedar in the seasons to have a real experiences of natural beauty and seclusion.


After breakfast,proceed for local sightseeing. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6 Depart for Chandigarh

After Breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh. Arrive Chandigarh and transfer to hotel for check- in.

Later, visit Visit Rock garden and Sukhana Lake. Overnight in Chandigarh.

Day 7 Departure Day

After breakfast, either drive back to Delhi (approx 5-6hrs) or take train back to Delhi.

If you take the train to Delhi then you will reach Delhi by approx 11.30am. Your train back is at 8pm. So, you will have time free in Delhi from 11.30am-7pm where you might want to take a hotel for a day use or do some sightseeing.
