DAY 01 | Arrive Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya, the land of stunning wildlife and mystifying cultures! On arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your safari lodge in Amboseli. The park is famous of its breathtaking views of the glittering Kilimanjaro, sheltering more than 420 species of birds, elephants, hippos and wildebeest.

DAY 02 | Amboseli Safari Lodge - Lake Naivasha National Park

Today, travel to Lake Naivasha, the only fresh water lake within Africa's Great Rift Valley, famous for its vast flocks of exotic bird life, hippos and fish. Arrive and check into your lodge.

DAY 03 | Lake Naivasha National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve

This morning, travel along the floor of the Great Rift Valley and head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous the world over for its staggering variety of wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migrations. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe and Thomson's gazelle. Also regularly seen are Leopards, Elephants, Lions, Hyenas, Cheetah, Hippos, Jackal, large Nile Crocodiles and bat-eared foxes. Upon arrival check into the lodge.

Following lunch embark on an afternoon game drive. The park is covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia; hazy forested hills and reverie bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander. A spectacular scene to be seen at least once in a lifetime is the annual migration of hundreds of thousands of zebra and wildebeest from the bordering Serengeti, not forgetting the predators that move along with them. This reserve is famous for gazelles, antelopes and a variety of birds. The lion, elephant, cheetah and leopard are also found here.

DAY 04 | Masai Mara Game Reserve

Your morning is at leisure. You can start your day by rising before dawn for a spectacular Hot Air Balloon Ride followed by a bubbly bush breakfast as an optional tour.

Late afternoon, set out on a game spotting safari in the reserve, where you will have an opportunity to spot Africa~s ~Big Five~ - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and the Cape Buffalo. See some stunning landscapes of the savannah as you go on this game drive in a vehicle with a pop-up roof.

Hot Air Balloon Safari (Seat in Coach)
Embark on an ultimate African safari experience on the most beautiful balloon flight in the world. Suspended in stillness, you watch the night mist clearing on the plains below, as herds of antelope and zebras rise to greet the new day, flocks of birds lift in flight and lions stalk their prey. Enjoy a one hour balloon flight. The safari finishes with a flourish - a champagne breakfast served in the bush in true 'Out of Africa' style. The breakfast is set up on the picturesque savannah plains of the Mara, typically under the shade of a single acacia tree. You will sit down to a full bush breakfast in the Kenyan style, complete with eggs-to-order, fresh juices, waiters in traditional Swahili attire, and, of course, champagne.

Mara Tribal Village (Private)
Though Kenya is made up of 42 different tribes, the Maasai community are the most revered for their exotic culture which has changed little over several centuries. A visit to a Maasai village, gives you a chance to experience their rich cultural heritage. A group of Maasai women will meet you at the gate and welcome you to the village with songs and dance while the Maasai Moran engage in their jumping dance as if to imitate a new born baby gazelle. Later a village guide will give you a tour of the village explaining every aspect of their way of life including traditional medicine, diet, economic activities and the various rites of passage. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history and lifestyle of these Maasai people who have tenaciously held onto their cultural traditions against strong heavy pressure to change and adapt to a "new global lifestyle". You may ask as many questions as you like, take photographs and even join the dance.

Bush Breakfast at Game Parks (Seat in Coach)
Enjoy a classic 'Out of Africa bus breakfast with a choice of Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian savories, freshly prepared by the chef as preferred. Fresh fruits, tea and coffee is also served. The authentic bush kitchenette is set with a campfire at the bush breakfast site. On arrival relish a glass of chilled, freshly made passion juice. After breakfast embark on an exciting safari drive on the way back to the lodge.

Sundowner at Game Parks (Private)
Timed to begin as the sun begins its descent, the Sun-downer begins with a gentle evening game drive, arriving at the sundowner site just as the evening sky turns gold-pink. Usually, a campfire will be lit, a full bar set up alongside a ring of safari chairs, and cocktail snacks served while a guitarist sings softly in the background. As night falls, you will be driven back to the lodge in time for dinner

DAY 05 | Masai Mara Game Reserve - Serengeti National Park

This morning, head to the world famous Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's largest wildlife conservation area. En route visit the historic site of Olduvai Gorge (The cradle of Mankind) where the world famous archaeologist, Dr Leakey, discovered the remains of the early man. Continue to Serengeti and check in to your lodge.

After a relaxed lunch, explore the world famous Serengeti National Park, Tanzania~s largest wildlife conservation area on a Game Drive. Tanzania~s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, and more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson~s gazelle join the wildebeest~s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant~s gazelle.

Olduvai Gorge (Private)
Olduvai Gorge is the Archaeological Site in the north-east of Tanzania within Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in which early human fossils were first discovered in 1911 by German entomologist who was looking for butterflies. The name was derived from early European miss-spelling of "Oldupai" the Maasai name for the plants that grow in that area. It has amazing landscape that resulted from the tectonic forces which created the Great Rift Valley million of years ago. Long ago the area was covered by ancient salt lake which vanished and leaving salt deposits exposed in its walls until today. The steep sided gorges is nearly 90 meters high and its extension is 50 kilometers long. The importance of this area lies on the uncovered archeological remains; fossils remains, including the bones of early hominids, stone tools, marks and a building site. Other sites within the area are Laetoli site, Lake Ndutu Sites, and Nasera Rock Shelter.

DAY 08 | Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Lake Manyara National Park

This morning, proceed to beautiful Lake Manyara National park which is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. On arrival at Lake Manyara, check into your Safari Lodge.

A wilderness of diverse habitats and rich in game, Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania~s smaller wilderness enclaves. Enjoy a late afternoon Game Drive in the park, richly populated with game and a wealth of bio diverse habitats. A truly unique experience is sure to be had. Apart from its abundant bird life, the park is known for its tree-climbing lions and is a great place to see impala, buffalo, wildebeest, hippo and giraffe.

Giraffe Centre (Private)
The Langata Giraffe Centre, run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, is a sanctuary for the rare Rothschilds giraffe. Here you can observe, hand-feed or even kiss the giraffes from a raised circular wooden structure, and it is quite an experience. It's a good place to get the close-up photographs of these animals. What makes this place so great is not only the Giraffes (which you get up close and personal with) but also the staff who will educate you and encourage your interaction with these beautiful animals.
