We will tour through the Tuscan landscape, through the picturesque vineyards and olive groves. of the Chianti region, stopping in small villages.
You will see Etruscan and Roman ruins, fabulous works of art, colorful markets, and interesting museums and love the fabulous food and wine everywhere we travel especially in Bologna, which is known for its great cuisine.
This tour for women ends in Florence, an important cultural center, where you will have the opportunity to leisurely explore the city on your own or with us. Our last hotel where we will stay for 5 nights is an elegant 4 Star hotel in the very center of Florence and only steps away from the Uffizi Gallery. A short walk to all the important sites, beautiful squares, restaurants, markets and shops.
Arrival in Florence, Transfer to Siena, Tour Arezzo, Welcome Dinner, Overnight in Siena You will arrive at the airport in Florence. Your tour manager will meet you at the airport in Florence and take you to Siena, where we will be based for the next two nights. On the way to Siena, we will stop in Arezzo, one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany. Of Etruscan and Roman origin, Arezzo's ancient origins dates back to the Paleolithic era. A local guide will conduct the tour of Arezzo. Free time to explore Arezzo and have lunch before we proceed to Siena.
A Welcome Dinner is planned tonight. We'll check into our hotel relax and meet again in the evening. (Dinner)
Guided Tour of Siena, Leisure Afternoon in Siena, Overnight in Siena The medieval walled city of Siena is the jewel and one most beautiful city in Tuscany. Siena's Il Campo is the Those of you who have not been to Siena will have a guided tour of this delightful city. Siena claims several key historical sights, including an outstanding Gothic Duomo and another important church, San Domenico, which claims the skull of St. Catherine. It also has one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, Il Campo, where the famous Palio horse race is held twice a year. Eleven different streets feed into Piazza del Campo, a huge fan-shaped plaza lined with restaurants, cafes and shops. We'll spend our day exploring Siena together.
Group lunch is planned after the tour followed by leisure time. As always, you are free to go off on your own to do as you please. As always, your tour manager is available for company. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Travel to Florence, Tour of Tuscany: Castellina in Chianti, Greve, Radda, Wine Producer & Wine Tasting, Overnight in Florence Today, we'll make our way to Florence, stopping in charming small towns in Chianti. Our exploration of Chianti will also take us in the heart of Chianti Classico to Greve, another famous wine-producing town. We'll have a quick visit of the town and pop into an interesting butcher-deli then proceed to one of the region's top wine producer where we will sample Chianti wines. We will also visit Castellina, a charming town and a great wine producer to sample wine. Group lunch is planned. We'll arrive Florence late afternoon. Balance of the day and dinner on your own. Guided Tour of Florence, Cappella Brancacci, Accademia or Uffizi Museum, Gucci Museum, Overnight in Florence Tommasso di Giovanni, nicknamed "Masaccio" which means Ugly Tom in Italian so named because of his unkempt appearance. Masaccio who was killed before the age of 30 was a great artist, the most influential painter in the early Renaissance. Our licensed museum guide will show us some of his most famous frescoes in the Brancacci chapel. Those of you who have not been to Florence before will have a walking tour of the city to hear about its history, see the historic sites and beautiful sqaures. You will also visit the Accedemia museum. Uffizi museum tour can also be arranged, if interested. Just let us know ahead of time
After our tour, we will have some opportunity to browse the markets and visit some artisan shops scattered around the city. Free time follows after the tour. Your tour manager will help you organize your day if you would like to explore on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning Tour of Ferragamo Museum & Gucci Museum, Overnight in Florence
Today we'll visit the new delightful Gucci museum, housed in a 14th century building located in the beautiful Piazza della Signoria. We will also visit the Ferragamo Museum, dedicated to the artistic designs of Salvatore Ferragamo, 20th century Italian footwear designer. Ferragamo worked with many Hollywood stars in the 1920s before returning to Italy to found his namesake company making luxury handmade footwear. Ferragamo was a pioneer in footwear, inventing styles still popular today. The museum documents his 30-year career, and features rotating exhibits that explore relationships between fashion, art and culture.
